About Whitney.

 

Since childhood, Whitney had wanted to get into acting, and take the stage. The earliest performance that she remembers is Red Riding Hood (through Missoula Children's Theatre), playing one of the Wolves. She adored the process, the rehearsing, the makeup, the costumes, and the rush of adrenaline from performing in front of people.

 

Once she got into high school, Whitney continued her passion for theatre through into another aspect, taking drama courses. She spent three years of her high school career training in the theatrical arts, and her passion for performance increased thruogh her experiences in choir, as well as performing in a second show her Junior year ("Out of the Frying Pan").

 

Now in college, Whitney is majoring in Theatre Arts, and minoring in Language Arts. She has been in three shows that were performed through the school, as well as was recently cast in her first performance in the community as an adult "Singing in the Rain". She has also delved into another aspect of acting: voice over work. She has been cast in several amateur-led projects, her most recent being an online video game. She eagerly looks forward to the game being released in Spring or Summer of 2015.

 

Although Whitney does not know which aspect of acting she wants to focus on for her career, she is excited to see what is to come in the future, living to Shakespeare's quote, "To thine own self be true.".
